It’s been slow going but I’ve made a few more additions to my new vintage online etsy store, ClutterCult. I added some Tupperware items and my first Vintage Mikasa item. Mikasa is a pretty old and well know Japanese company that produces Cera Stone dishes and dinnerware. All items are Made in Japan and are marked on the bottom. What I like about them is they numbered their patterns so if you have missing pieces you can easily check the markings on the bottom and search for replacements.

Vintage Tupperware Mugs Blue and Grey with Lids

Description

This listing is for a set of 3 Vintage Tupperware Mugs with matching lids.
Total of 6 piece set.

SIZE:
3.5″ TALL and 3.” diameter

These cups are a great vintage find. They are pastel greys and blue verses the more common harvest colors. They have stack able bottoms and are in great vintage condition, no major scrapes or scratches.

It’s every sellers nightmare. In efforts to remain competitive in this online market you offered too much of a discount on shipping and you end up spending more to ship the item than what the buyer paid for it. I made my first sale today with my new vintage shop on etsy, ClutterCult. Unfortunately I made that same rookie mistake and grossly underestimated the shipping cost. After I finished packaging my item it weight a whopping 4 pounds! So deceptive. These bowls are so much lighter than any pyrex dishes, yet it still weighed 4 pounds? Yikes I’ve never mailed anything so heavy. It wasn’t a total nightmare I still came out a tiny bit ahead, but I better shape up fast if I ever hope to make any kind of profit I do want this to be business after all. Oh well lesson learned I need to double check all the shipping amounts in my shop and re-weight all my items adding extra weight for the box and packing materials necessary to keep these precious items safe. Well you live and learn. I also was not aware that packages over 13oz can not be sent first class mail.

This item is in good vintage condition. There is a scratch on the largest container.
Each canister has the matching lid. These containers are great storage units for any kitchen.
These containers are marked “sugar” and “rice”
I believe those labels are removable.

Just added a new listing in MammaRachel’sEtsyShop for a Set of 3 Vintage Tupperware Bowls. They look like ice cream bowls to me. I tried searching for similar bowls online, but I haven’t found anything close or nearly as cute. Perfect for any vintage kitchen. Great Christmas Gift for anyone with a kitchen, lol or anyone that likes ice cream. Get it before it sells out like all my Vintage and Collectible items on Etsy once they sell they won’t be relisted unless I stumble across another one. Item is in good condition, no funky smells.
