Does it really work? I hear lots of stories about people making money online by blogging, but can you really do it. I’m convinced it’s not as easy as it sounds. I started blogging to help my etsy store. I used it as a social networking tool to advertise my shop on Etsy. I don’t know if anyone besides my sister reads my blog, but I must admit it’s a fun past time. Last night I did a simple google search, “get paid to blog.” The second result is an article on eHow.com: How to Get Paid To Blog – Paid Blogging Networks | eHow.com.
Then I checked out the first recommended website, PayPerPost.com. While browsing the site I came across another website for tweeters called sponsored tweets. I decided to start off small and give it a try. You sign up as a tweeter with your twitter account. Based on your followers they give you a recommended pay rate. My recommended rate was 0.49 cents per tweet. Then you choose 10 tags or key words. After you set that up you receive what they call ‘opportunities’ an advertiser sends you a link you write a tweet with their link and wait for the advertiser to approve your tweet. Once they approve your tweet it shows up in your twitter feed. You get paid when someone clicks on the link in your tweet. I don’t think I’ll get too many clicks, but we’ll see how it goes. I think they should pay you at least once for your first tweet ;(
So if you follow me in twitter I decided to mark all my advertising tweets with the hash tag #sponsoredtweets. Click on the link and I’ll get $0.02 lol better yet retweet my tweets 
that would be best.
