My mom gave me a few of her old patterns. I love these vintage patterns. They come pre-cut (by my mom lol) don’t have a lot of pieces and the instructions are really easy to follow. I made this See & Sew 5401 pattern today. It was so easy I didn’t even need the instructions because it’s only two pieces. It’s like a tennis outfit or something it has a top and a shorts. I used a medium weight jersey material. Cut out the 2 top pieces one front and one back. I decided to lengthen the sleeve an inch because I wanted more of a full sleeve instead the caped sleeve look. I sewed up the shoulders and sides and got this pretty comfy top. I think I’m going to leave the raw edges, because jersey doesn’t fray. Pattern – Free Fabric – $2.04 a yard. Cost of this top around $2=<3 wow I finally saved money sewing. Here’s the finished product. What do you think?

You would have never guessed it was so long

Thanks Mom

of course the baby had to get in on the photoshoot
